Weekly update 13/01/19

This weekend saw the first GP event of 2019 which also combined the inaugural Big Dartford Mob Match. I think you will all agree Lullingstone parkrun is a fiendishly hilly course. We were the largest club in attendance with 67 of you running. To top it off we won the Trophy and look forward to retaining it next year. Thanks to Richey for organising and the volunteers. If that wasn’t enough the always moist Minnis Bay KFL event was run today. We had a couple of first timers and I believe Jay cemented his position at the top of the leader board. 30 of you made the trek into deepest Kent.

The GP tables have been updated with division 5 having a full sweep of runners taking part.

Andy Horton MM
Just a reminder that Lisa can obtain the miles covered for GPs, KFLs, parkruns, Kent XC and Assembly League runs. However, she will need to be provided with the details of any other races where you wish to claim AH Miles. This can be done via the link below. Please remember to claim your miles within the allotted timeframe or they will be discounted. As you can imagine this is quite a time-consuming process for her.

Sunday Social/Marathon Training
We are hoping there will be a 10M run from Camer Park this Sunday, we just need to confirm with the run leader that this is still the case. The marathon runners can top this up to their desired distance. I will provide a further update shortly.
