With perfect autumnal running conditions, today saw the start of the KFL season and what a turn out by DRR. There was just under 50 of us running and another 15 or so in support. It was fantastic seeing you all putting in the effort and doing yourselves proud. The results normally take a few days to come through, but we are certain Jay Smith came home first and George Seymore not far behind him. Well done to you all, it was great viewing.
There was a bit of an issue with a dropped token today which caused a bit of a delay at the finish line, if your result is incorrect just let us know and we see what can be done.
Next week sees the second KFL race at Swanley Park, its Remembrance Sunday and there will be a minute’s silence before the start. Stuart could also do with an extra pair of hands to help with the tokens at the end. Can you please let him know if you can help?
